FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about staking securely with Skytree.

General

What makes Skytree different from other validators?
Skytree is an institutional-grade operator with years of experience, running non-custodial staking infrastructure with a priority on conservative upgrades. We utilize resilient cloud infrastructure across global regions, ensuring the same level of premium service as top-tier providers.
Which networks do you support?
We focus on securing base layers (L1) and scaling solutions (L2). Our primary mainnet networks include Algorand, XDC, and Blast, along with other leading protocols.
What is non-custodial staking?
Non-custodial staking means you retain full control over your private keys and assets at all times. You delegate the 'staking power' to our validator nodes without ever transferring the actual tokens to us. This ensures that even if our servers were compromised, your funds would remain safe in your wallet.
Is there a minimum amount required to stake?
This varies by network. Some networks (like Ethereum) require 32 ETH for a solo validator, but Liquid Staking protocols allow any amount. For most Cosmos-based chains or Solana, there is effectively no minimum. Check our Stats page or the specific network documentation for details.
How often are rewards paid out?
Reward payout frequency depends on the specific blockchain protocol. Some pay out every block (seconds), others per epoch (days). Skytree never withholds rewards; they are distributed directly to your wallet by the protocol automatically.

Security & Reliability

How does Skytree ensure security and reliability?
We employ a multi-layered defense strategy including redundant validator and sentry layers, HSM-based key management, and least-privilege access. All nodes are monitored in real-time, and we run multiple instances across regions to minimize downtime.
How do you guarantee high uptime?
We deploy validators across geographically separated data centers with automated failover to maintain >99.9% uptime. We utilize multiple cloud providers (like AWS and Azure) for redundancy, ensuring continuous operation even if one provider has issues.

Services

Do you offer white-label or custom validator services?
Yes. We can spin up and manage dedicated validator nodes branded for exchanges, custodians, or DAOs. We also offer advisory services and RPC infrastructure.
